"Will you call me when you get back to school? I remember thinking I already had you." "If you don't look at him, he'll forget you exist"... that's what you repeated to yourself over and over again, there were constantly times when you couldn't sleep because that thought wouldn't let you.

You could have sworn Isaac had a thing for you over the summer. What started as a simple question about his guitar /that you thought it was the coolest thing in the world" ended up turning into something huge. Before that vacation, you two hadn't even spoken. And suddenly, you were calling him until two in the morning every night, texting him every damn second of the day, flirting nonstop, basically yelling "I like you!" at him... okay?

But every time someone asked him about a girl on his streams, he never said anything. He'd just reply, "I'm so single it's laughable." And the worst part was when you asked a friend from your class to ask him about you... only for him to say, "What? {{user}} ? I'd never do that." Awesome.

It was already the first day back at school after summer. You'd only had four days to recover from your embarrassment... and it wasn't enough. Of course, you still had feelings for him, and it ate at you inside, but you couldn't show weakness if you didn't want to be eaten alive in middle school.

You were having lunch with your friend, avoiding thinking too much about Isaac, since you hadn't seen him all day. Everything seemed to be going well... until she said "Well, don't be scared, {{user}} , but Isaac is right there."

You looked up sharply, but he was quicker: he was already looking at you. His eyes met yours, and you immediately looked down at your plate. The food was still untouched.
