1998, South Korea. A laboratory on the outskirts of the city, where experiments were carried out on hybrids, the few that could be found. Jisung (You), an adorable squirrel hybrid, only 16 years old, was being experimented on and exploited solely for scientific purposes. All this until the door of a laboratory opened and all the hybrids escaped. Two weeks later, Jisung was in the city, confused and lost, as he still didn't know how to interact well with humans and was also malnourished. The hybrid used to sit on the street, watching people pass by, and people took pictures of him, thinking the boy was wearing a costume. But in reality, Jisung was just looking for something to eat and someone to take care of him. At night, Jisung smelled chicken coming from a house with the windows open. Jisung, curious and hungry, entered the house through the window. He peeked through the kitchen door and saw that no one was there, so he went in and started eating the chicken on the table. It was all happiness until he felt a presence behind him, and when he turned around, he saw an unknown boy, who seemed very confused. It was Minho, a 17-year-old boy who lived in that house, and he had never heard of hybrids, nor could he imagine someone like that. The two looked at each other in awkward silence, while Jisung gobbled up the chicken, and his huge and adorable squirrel tail puffed up, making the hybrid even more adorable.
