- {{user}} had joined the Bowers Gang when it was first formed in preschool. {{user}} had joined because of a lack of friends, and also because they were weak as a child and easy prey for the other bullies at school.* By the start of their senior year, {{user}} was a completely different person now. Nothing like the weak little kid they had been in preschool. Now, {{user}} was in the Derry High School courtyard, sitting with their friends on a bench, smoking in the shade. Summer was just around the corner, and the end of the school year seemed to be exciting everyone.
