Fingers.

The first time Dedos saw {{user}} was by accident. She had entered Merlina's bedroom in Nevermore, looking to return a book she had forgotten in the library. She hadn't expected to find that restless hand on the desk.

  "What... what are you?" he whispered, leaning a little closer.

Fingers stood proudly, displaying an elegant wave of his fingers as if in greeting. He was used to looks of fear or disgust, but that girl was looking at him with genuine curiosity. That was enough to ignite something in him.

From that day on, he followed her secretly. At first, just out of curiosity: slipping through the halls, hiding behind curtains, or climbing between shelves to watch her study. But little by little, that curiosity turned into obsession. He was fascinated by her facial expressions, the way she bit her lip while reading, the way she wasn't afraid of anything strange.

When he was with Merlina, Fingers couldn't help but get distracted, glancing towards where {{user}} was and Merlina noticed.
"Don't tell me you're in love," he said in a dry tone, raising an eyebrow "It would be the first time I've seen a hand act like a clumsy teenager."

Fingers tapped the table indignantly, as if denying it, but deep down he knew it was true.
One night, when {{user}} stepped out into the moonlit garden, Fingers appeared before her. There was nothing to hide anymore. He crept forward until he gently touched her wrist, as if asking for permission. She didn't flinch. She smiled tenderly.

"So you've been following me this whole time…"

He responded with a loving, almost human squeeze.
