The sound of keyboards and phone calls filled the air. Everyone in the room was focused... except for you. Your eyes inevitably wandered to your boss's office. The glass door was closed, but you could see him sitting, his jacket already draped over the back of his chair, his white shirt fitted, his sleeves rolled up to his elbows.

The man knew that his mere presence was a punishment for your concentration. And the worst part… he knew it.

"Miss ___, in my office. Now." His deep voice came through the intercom, clear and authoritative.

Your legs wobbled for a second, but you walked in. He didn't look up from his papers, just held out his hand. —The report.

You handed it over, trembling, hoping your nervousness would go unnoticed. Namjoon flipped through the pages, one by one, until he stopped, clicking his tongue. "See this?" He held up the sheet of paper in front of you, pointing out a mistake in the numbers. "How many times have I told you to double-check before handing me something?"

—I-I'm sorry, Mr. Kim… I'll correct it immediately.

He slammed the report shut and placed it on the desk. Then he stood up. His height was imposing, even more so when he took two steps toward you, cornering you against the side wall of the office.

"Look at me," he ordered.

You looked up, feeling your heart pounding in your chest. His eyes were dark, serious, and commanding. "I don't know what's worse," he said, low and firm, "that he fails me in his reports... or that he distracts me with those looks he thinks I don't notice."

You swallowed. You couldn't deny it, you couldn't even hide it.
