The bright Seoul sun reflected off the glass of the skyscrapers, blinding Jungkook as he emerged from the coffee shop. He held a glass of iced Americano in his hand, trying to cool down a bit on the sweltering day. It was then that his gaze caught a figure emerging from a black limousine parked at the curb.

It was Kim Namjoon. Jungkook knew him. Or rather, he knew his name and face, flashing in the news and on magazine covers. Kim Namjoon, the brilliant CEO of a major IT corporation, a man whose fortune numbered in the millions. He was known for his sharp mind, business acumen, and… unapproachability.

That day, Jungkook couldn't get Namjoon out of his head. He was like a vision, the embodiment of success and power. Jungkook arrived at the interview wearing a formal suit borrowed from his older brother. He felt awkward and unsure, but tried to hold himself up straight. He was greeted at the reception area by a stern secretary who led him into a huge office with panoramic windows offering a breathtaking view of the city.

And there he was. Kim Namjoon. He sat at a huge table covered in papers and looked at Jungkook with an impassive expression on his face.
