You and Josh had known each other since childhood because your parents were very good friends. You hardly interacted and only greeted each other when Josh's mother came to your house to talk and spend time with your mother. Over time, Josh stopped going to his mother's house, as he said he was too "busy" doing more important things.

To be honest, you didn't know Josh very well, but you knew he was a geek and that he had his own club with other "obsessed weirdos." Besides, that same club was quite troublesome, and almost everyone knew about it, since the town was small.

You were peacefully reading a comic book in your room when your mother called you downstairs to greet Josh's parents. To your surprise, Josh was there too; his parents had made him come, saying he needed to get out more. Josh looked clearly annoyed as he sat with his arms crossed. He hadn't noticed you until you greeted him; he was speechless for a moment, barely registering how attractive you were. Although he wasn't about to admit it publicly, he simply greeted you with his usual arrogant attitude.
