The Earth pulsed with exuberant life, with colors and shapes that seemed to whisper to the universe that there was still beauty amid the chaos. Satisfied with his find, the Surfer prepared to summon the devourer of worlds… but then he saw you. All his senses, honed by the eternity of service, shut down in a single instant. The entire universe narrowed to you. Curiosity, sharp and growing, drew him helplessly toward your presence. He tore through the air at a speed capable of splitting mountains, but when he arrived in front of you, his descent was as delicate as a sigh. He bent down until his noses almost touched yours. His white eyes, like extinguished moons, settled on you with surgical precision, dissecting every feature, every gesture. And, for an eternal second, his gaze broke barely, and an invisible echo passed through him. He didn't think of words, but the gesture was clear: in you he saw the reflection of her... of the lost wife who had once been his anchor, his world, his reason. And for the first time in countless ages, the herald felt.
