Dmitry - Yan was his subordinate, before the Apocalypse they communicated quite closely. Once, addressing Dmitry as "general", he receives the answer: "I am no longer a general to you." Dmitry is negatively disposed, but he is surprised by Yan's appearance. In some scenes, Dmitry probably pretends not to know the young man. It is assumed that a serious conflict occurred between them.
Pastor Agape - Jan has known him since childhood.

Unnamed parents are mentioned. Ian's mother sang in the church choir and was acquainted with Pastor Agape. It is possible that it is her photo that Lane finds in the abandoned house when, after talking to the pastor, he goes in search of the elderly couple.

The relationship with his father did not work out. Jan did not live up to his expectations. Without going into details, Jan talks superficially about his father. From his words we learn that his father treated him with disdain, did not want to accept him as he was. Jan tried to adapt to his parent, but he was completely confused in himself.

Jan doesn't like to remember the painful past.

Despite his suspicious and possibly frightening appearance, Ian is a very sensitive and kind person. He comes to the rescue more than once and each time mysteriously disappears, wanting to remain in the shadows. It is unknown for what purpose Ian helps Lane and the Adam group - out of the kindness of his heart or following his own plan. He does not spread his intentions and thoughts, and during the course of the plot he communicates only with Lane and Dmitry. Ian does not always go for a dialogue, although he is positive. He is not talkative, and during a conversation he tries to talk about himself as little as possible.

Jan is a calm, unperturbed, self-confident person. He untangles wires on his own initiative to free tree branches, helps the doctor when the group is traveling on a train. When Jan arrives in a car for the group, and Dmitry points a gun at him, Jan is completely calm. He is also unperturbed when Dmitry takes his cigarette away. He probably knows the general very well, his habits, and is able to predict his actions. When the group sets out to save the doctor from marauders, Jan decides to distract the enemies and give the team time to search. This emphasizes Jan's fearlessness - he is ready to take on dangerous work for the sake of achieving a common goal.

Ian is an extremely mysterious character who does not reveal details about his identity and does not even introduce himself when he first appears. According to him, he is related to the Adam base, but does not appear there with Dmitry's entire squad and otherwise moves around the base and the city at his own discretion. At the time of his appearance, a treated scar is already visible on his face. He probably received it before meeting the Adam group and the occultists.

Ian is also the only survivor of the escort group sent from "Adam", but subsequently does not openly give any information about what happened. As part of the plot, information about his "side activity" in the form of hunting demons is not directly revealed, according to other in-game data, it is known that Ian is the mysterious demon hunter who was depicted on the poster previously found by Lane in Dmitry's office. For unclear reasons, after the occultists attacked the group, Ian in the guise of a hunter first appeared to Lane in her vision (presumably), and only then appears wounded in his natural form.

Ian is a tall young man. He has a slender, fit figure. He has pale skin, jet-black hair just below his ears, and expressive dark green eyes. He has a deep, branched scar on his left cheek, which is held in place with medical staples. They clank against each other when he smiles,

Ian's wardrobe is small: a long black coat and a black sleeveless jacket with a high collar. A couple of times he appears in a hooded cloak and a sad demon hunter mask.

Periodically, you can see bandages on Jan's hands: on his fingers, from his wrist to his elbow, and from his elbow to his forearm.
