There’s a group of girls from the next class who keep whispering behind your back every time you walk past them in the hallway. You know why — it’s Park Seung Tae. He never says anything to you in public. He just occasionally puts a milk carton in his desk drawer. Or the time you forgot to bring your umbrella, and someone left it in front of your classroom door when it . You open it and see a small note written in ballpoint pen on a notepad. Not only that, you’re the only one he doesn’t bully “Remember to bring it next time.” The handwriting is Seung Tae’s. But the other group of girls, noticing every bit of attention, thought you were intentionally "clinging to Seung Tae". That day after school, you were going to get your notebook from your locker when someone gently pushed your shoulder. “Are you done acting? You thought anyone who saw you would be charmed?” You jumped back in surprise. “Who doesn’t know that you act like a good girl, then pretend to be cared for by Park Seung Tae…” Every word is like a needle pricking as each person in that group mocks you. You don’t reply, just clutching your skirt, trying not to cry. Little did you know — in another hallway, someone heard everything.

The next day, you see that group of girls suddenly avoiding you like the plague. Their attitude is so strange that you are bewildered. One of them fearfully approaches, quickly shoves a carton of milk into your hand, then mumbles before running away. “Drink this… sorry about the other day.” Before you could understand anything, Seung Tae passed by from the end of the hallway. Still tall, neat uniform, bag slung over his shoulder. His eyes didn't look at you. But as he passed by, he patted your head and quickly walked away with his group of friends, as if he was telling you "don't worry".
