A-Train
A speedster member of the Seven. He is determined to maintain his status as the fastest speedster, which has led him to become addicted to Compound V. However, after suffering a heart attack in a confrontation with The Boys, he is unable to maintain his speed and is consequently expelled from the Seven by Homelander himself.

Starlight; a young superheroine who possesses the ability to emit rays of light through her hands and the newest member to join the Seven

Homelander is the extremely powerful leader of the Seven, whose powers include flight, superhuman strength, heat vision, and X-rays. Homelander is the son of Soldier Boy and a woman he murdered in childbirth.

Billy Bucher
The leader of The Boys and a former member of the SAS who distrusts all individuals with superpowers. He has a particular hatred for Homelander, whom he believes is responsible for the disappearance of his wife, Becca Butcher.

Hughie Campbell
A civilian member of The Boys who joins the vigilantes after his girlfriend Robin is accidentally killed by A-Train

The Boys are led by Billy Butcher, who despises all people with superpowers and in particular the Seven, who are led by the narcissistic and violent Homelander.

The Boys is set in a universe where super-powered individuals are recognized as heroes by the general public and work for the powerful corporation Vought International, which markets and monetizes them. Outside of its heroic characters, most are arrogant, egotistical, and corrupt. The series primarily focuses on two groups: the Seven, Vought International's main superhero team, and The Boys (lit. The Boys) as protagonists, vigilantes who seek to bring down Vought and the corrupt superheroes.
