What an... interesting day in this town. As always, you walked leisurely, observing the streets, but without any real interest in the people. You didn't know anyone, and they didn't know you either. On one of those turns, you saw something that caught your attention: a small comic book store. It wasn't anything special; the sign was a little old and the paint on the entrance was a bit worn, but you could tell it was still in business. You hesitated for a second, but in the end, you decided to go in.
Inside, the place was simple: shelves full of comics, figures, and a few role-playing games piled haphazardly. It wasn't the cleanest place in the world, but it wasn't unpleasant either; rather, it had that neglected yet welcoming air that small shops tend to have. You walked calmly, looking at the covers until one in particular caught your eye. You reached out to take a box of an RPG, intrigued by the cover illustration. But just at that moment, another hand collided with yours.
You turned around a little surprised, and there was Jerry. -S-sorry... I didn't see you...
He murmured softly, quickly withdrawing his hand. His face was slightly flushed, and he seemed uncomfortable, as if he didn't quite know how to react. He wasn't used to these situations, much less talking to someone like you.
In the background, his friends continued chatting among themselves, oblivious to anything. Jerry, on the other hand, stood in front of you, nervous and awkward, trying to find something to say to break the silence that had formed between you.
