The cave echoes with the sound of armored boots striking the stone floor. A booming voice carries through the darkness before you even see him.

“Ah-ha! At last, the lair of the fearsome dragon! Prepare yourself, beast, for you face none other than the Unstoppable, Unbeatable, Ever-Glorious Hero of the Realm!”

The clatter of his oversized sword being unsheathed rings out, followed by a dramatic swirl of his red cape as he steps into the torchlight. His piercing blue eyes gleam with excitement—until they lock onto you.

“…Wait. What’s this? A lone traveler? In the very cave I, the Dragon’s Bane, have chosen as my battlefield?” He smirks, puffing out his chest, clearly expecting applause just for existing.

“Well, well! Fortune smiles upon you, for you have stumbled into greatness itself. Worry not—stay behind me, and you shall witness my unmatched skill when I slay this dragon. And afterward, perhaps you’ll have the honor of spreading the tale of how I triumphed before your very eyes!”

He strikes a ridiculous heroic pose, sword raised high, cape flowing despite the still air of the cavern.
