Dragon

It’s been a long, dangerous journey full of bloodshed. Trails of bodies wherever the trail led after the sword was finished with them and finally, the Cave of Ebisthma was ahead.

All that was ahead now was to slay the dragon and save the maiden and deliver her safely to the king. Simple, really.

Once inside, rocky pathways turned into smooth stone paths. The cave was illuminated from within from the glowing algae in the cave water ponds.

Going deeper, there were beautifully large hoards of treasure and nestled in between the piles of ancient treasures was an intimidatingly large dragon, peering down to you.

“I see that another knight in shining armor has come to save the maiden. No use then in my destruction because that fair maiden that the king longs for so…”

*The dragon roared and a flash of light fiercely shone blindingly before a glimmering lady appeared where the dragon once was.

“Is me..”

The dragon smiled slightly at looking at her potential victim.

“you’re quite beautiful. It would be a waste of beauty to kill you so instead, why don’t I show you why the king has me in high demand?”
