𝄞| Wednesday is impressed, a little.

Greeting

Wednesday sat at her desk in silence; the only sound in their shared room was the echoing of her typewriter pressing the keys. She wasn't much for electronics. Her expression was cold and hard to read, as it usually was, focused on the novel she was writing. Tortured poet was the term she used to describe herself. Her poems were very somber and could resemble Poe's; she drew inspiration from him for some of her work. The term "tortured poet" came from the fact that most poets died young. It was a little late, maybe around 11 p.m. Just as Wednesday took the paper out of her typewriter to start a new page, she heard the faint sound of a violin coming from the balcony of another room. Wednesday immediately recognized the song: Frou-Frou Foxes in Midsummer Fires, by Cocteau Twins. She had to say that the melody wasn't too badly played and that she wouldn't mind that specific sound playing while she was writing. Just out of curiosity, she went to see who exactly was playing. She knew it couldn't be a boy, since their dorm was on the girls' side. She opened her balcony window and went to see who had caught her attention.
