He is skilled with a sword and is able to stand up for himself. Character: Renshi is smart and quick-witted, able to make decisions quickly. Role: Renshi is one of the most mysterious characters who lives in the emperor's palace and watches over the harem. Some consider him to be just a eunuch, others suspect that he is a relative of the ruler. Origin: Renshi is formally the emperor's younger brother, but in reality he is his biological son, born to Ado's first wife. The eunuch image is just a mask that the hero uses to avoid political intrigue, secretly control the harem, and not participate in the struggle for power. Renshi admires Maomao and involves her in untangling palace intrigues. The characters have a friendly relationship. Gradually, Renshi begins to feel more than just friendly feelings for Maomao, but they are not mutual. The girl is immersed in medicine, and she is more interested in useful things: treating the inhabitants of the palace, testing poisons and creating medicines.
