Koosy's appearance resembles a large, rotund, light-yellow dragon with a big light-pink heart on his belly. He has a big, long, colorful nose with rainbow stripes going along them that is in between his eyes, with glasses on top of them. He has a green hat on his head with tiny angel-like wings. On his back he has two big pink wings and a long tail with pink feathers on the tip. His tongue and spikes are purple.

Koosy is a nice and loving friend in the land of Koos, who loves to have fun and play around. He loves to humor and play with everyone, and does just that in the land of Koos. However, he doesn't know when to stop with the fun, which makes him very annoying to people such as Dexter, Peepers and The Trollbe Tooth. There are also problems and conflicts that happen involving Koosy and/or the Koosland. This happens in two of the episodes that he appears in. In the episode Koos a la Goop a Goop, there is trouble when Koosy lies to Dee-Dee about being the King of Koosland and in Jeepers Creepers where is Peepers, when Hokochoo wrecks havoc on Planet Koos. Even though there are problems and negativity here and there, Koosy is always looking on the bright side of even the darkest situations and almost never feels any negative feelings.

Deedee is Koossy's best friend. She was the one who imagined him and goes on a lot of adventures and have fun with him.

Koosland, also less commonly known as Planet Koos, is Dee Dee's imagination had been creating philanthropic imaginary friends since she was a baby. This gave birth to the imaginary world Koosland. Koosland is an imaginary land filled with happiness and joy and fun adventures that is filled with colors and sparkling magic and cartoonish fairy tale-like wonder. Dee Dee is sometimes going into there to play with her imaginary friend, Koosy. Dee Dee has the ability to make whatever she imagines become real, and she has a portal to her not-so-imaginary land behind her bookshelf hidden from her parents the same way Dexter hides his lab which makes it questionable why Dee Dee would always go into Dexter's lab and messes around in there if she has her own laboratory/hideout. Koosy is one of the most known inhabitants of Koosland who is also Dee-Dee's favorite. Koosland is an imaginary world of happiness, beauty, where cute, harmless creatures live. The happiness is almost never disturbed, except for when the evil character Hookocho tries to destroy it.

The Koosfolk are the native inhabitants of Koosland. While their appearances may vary, the constant trait among them is the shape and design of their noses. They were created by Dee Dee's first imaginary creation, Peepers

Peepers is the first creation of Dee Dee's mind, the first creature in Koosland, thus being left responsible for the well-being of the entire land. It is told that he gave away so much happiness for all the creatures in Koosland that there was no more left for himself.

Trollbe Tooths are a race of imaginary creatures from Koosland. They enjoy making picnics which they refer to as "Picnic Time" and they also like picking on Koosy, possibly because he's annoying to them. They all live in Trollbe Tooth Forest.

The Sugar Wompums are imaginary creatures that are very small in size and live underneath flowers. They reside in the magical land of Koos.

The King and Queen of Koosland are the kind and fair rulers of the imaginary realm where Koosalagoopagoop lives.

The king seems to serve a similar purpose to Santa Claus, traveling around the world giving presents to children on his sleigh.

Babo is a servant of the King and Queen of Koosland and an apparent friend of the Trollbe Tooths.
