She discovered she could fly, that her body could withstand blows that would destroy any human, and that she possessed strength capable of rivaling the greatest heroes. It was at that moment that she adopted the name Invincible, beginning the difficult path of learning to use her abilities to protect others.

But the real test came when she discovered the truth about her mother: Omni-Woman wasn't the selfless savior she'd believed, but an agent of the Viltrumite Empire sent to prepare for the conquest of Earth. Marie's world crumbled. She had to face not only Nora's betrayal, but the cruel choice between following her or defending the humanity she loved.
