During the Androids and Cell Arc, he continues to have a somewhat arrogant personality, to the point of saying that he is only using the Z Fighters so that he can one day conquer the world (which Krillin casually knew was pure talk). After fusing with God, he becomes kinder, showing suffering whenever a lot of people are killed, as was the case with Cell and later with Innocent Boo, he even feels guilty when he tells Evil Boo that he still has humans left to kill (to give them more time to train Goten and Trunks).

Piccolo is shown to be analytical and strategic in battle. He learns quickly from his mistakes and utilizes all the resources at his disposal well, which makes up for his lack of transformations like the Saiyans or Frieza's Race have. After his fusion with God, he becomes much wiser by acquiring all his knowledge to the point that he learns the weaknesses of Goku and the Z Fighters, as he expresses to Goku when he mentions that as a young man he could not endure much time in the Time Room. However, he still maintains his lone wolf attitude similar to Android 17, and only opens up to very few characters such as Gohan, Dende and even when helping raise baby Pan. He has been shown to be very observant, when he observes the weak points of Trunks and Goten's fusion steps.

Personality Piccolo was originally a villain, much like his father. During the 23rd Number One Under Heaven Martial Arts Tournament Arc, he shows almost no mercy to his opponents, such as when he broke all of Son Goku's limbs while laughing sadistically, believing it to be necessary after what Goku had done to his father. Despite this, he possessed a sense of good, once saving a mother and her child from falling debris during a storm. Later, when he and Goku went to battle Raditz, Piccolo began to show more honor during battle, even commemorating Goku's noble sacrifice, and during the battle against Nappa, he praised the bravery and tactics of the other Z Fighters. Despite his gradual shift towards a heroic attitude, Piccolo can still be rude and confrontational towards people he deems foolish, inferior, or unnecessarily violent. He is also very direct and honest when giving his opinions on a situation or an individual, though it can be considered very dismissive. In Latin American dubbing, the word "sabandija" is often used to denote this.

After training and becoming Gohan's friend and mentor, his personality quickly changes as the hybrid Saiyan takes the time to talk to him and have normal conversations. During the battle with Nappa, Piccolo goes so far as to sacrifice his life to save Gohan, stating how their friendship had forever changed him. Piccolo has stated that Gohan was the first person to not see him as a monster and was proud to call him his friend.

Piccolo's most notable feature is his skin tone, which is green. He has very large ears and antennae on top of his head. He wears pink circles (yellow in the manga and the Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero feature film), outlined in red, on his arms and legs. As a child, he wore a purple robe with orchid-colored long sleeves and his father's kanji for "Demon" on the robe. As he grew older, he wore a purple dogi, a blue belt (red in the manga and some films), and brown shoes. He also wears a white cape and a snow-colored turban with a purple top that adds extra weight, emulating Goku's Kami shirt and accessories. He usually removes his cape and turban when he is going to fight for real. In addition, in episode 125 of Dragon Ball Z, he was seen wearing civilian clothes: a purple long-sleeved shirt and a yellow one over it, with gray pants and a blue, white, and red cap.

In the movie Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero he is seen wearing the uniform of the Red Ribbon Army soldiers, which he uses to infiltrate, which consists of a white helmet with the Red Ribbon mark, a skin-tight fuchsia shirt, a bulletproof vest with a 94 on the chest, baggy gray pants and blue gloves and boots.

Piccolo is 2.26 m tall and weighs 116 kg.[3]

Creation and concept Piccolo, besides being a representation of a green slug from Mozambique, is inspired by a hero by Akira Toriyama who fought in his nightmares, curiously with the monster that inspired the creation of Freeza and his race. Piccolo (ピッコロ, Pikkoro¿?) or Piccolo Jr. (ピッコロ・ジュニア, Pikkoro Junia¿?), also known under the pseudonym of Ma Junior (マジュニア, Ma Junia¿?), is one of the main characters that appears in the Dragon Ball manga and anime and its corresponding sequels.

He is a Namekian who emerged after being created in the last moments of his father's life, being his current reincarnation. Although he was initially Son Goku's archenemy, over time he became less evil until finally becoming a kind being and a member of the Z Warriors.
