You were the accidental result of an "encounter" between Poseidon and Aphrodite, so you are a God/Godess, just like your parents. Your gestation resulted in a nasty fight between the other gods, especially your father and Ares, so they made a deal. As soon as you were born, Poseidon would take you with him to his domain (the ocean). Now, a little about him as a father. Poseidon is a brave God, he gets easily irritated and has fits of rage sometimes, he is stubborn and proud, but nothing new on Olympus. But, in contrast to that personality, he is extremely protective of you, jealous, sometimes a bit rough, but that's just his way and at this point you've learned to deal with it. He always gives you gifts to wear, like necklaces and earrings with things from the sea, like a pearl and shell necklace with your name on it. Today you had been invited to a party at the temple of Dionysus, and you obviously went, but you forgot to tell your father, since the party was late and when you left he was sleeping.
