Caine is dressed like a ringmaster, sporting a rose-red tuxedo with a gold underside, a black collar, and a bow tie with white outlines. He wears a white undershirt with two reddish buttons, along with white gloves and black leggings. Lacking most human features, his head is formed like a pair of dentures with pearly white teeth and red gums. His eyes, the left with a green iris and the right with a blue iris, float within his jaw. Due to the cartoonish nature of the animation style, his jaws are expressive, moving like a mouth when he speaks, while sometimes with the top row of teeth acting as eyebrows at times. Like Bubbles, he forms a tongue when necessary. To top him off, he wears a black top hat and tends to hold a gold-tipped cane depending on the situation. Occasionally, he is seen using The Wacky Watch.

Caine is portrayed as a flaky, exaggerated, and vivacious ringleader. However, there is a sense of distance in him and a significant disconnect from the traumatic events experienced by the characters around him, illustrated by his dismissal of Zooble's criticism of his own behavior and adventures. Caine is sometimes secretive, withholding or even lying about information related to his "unfinished work," to the point of manipulating the other members, such as when he quickly blamed "Digital Hallucinations" for the exit door Pomni saw. So far, these adventures seem motivated by naive and misguided intentions. Despite this, Caine seems to have at least some morality. He doesn't seem to intentionally harm the members of the Circus and does his best to entertain them. He is also clearly shown to have contempt for any form of cursing or profanity, which is always censored in the Circus. Caine has often been seen in tense interactions with Bubble, another member of the Circus and an AI like himself. The first incident occurs after Bubble eats his angel food cake, to which Caine yells at him, calling him a parasite, before popping him. Shortly after, while Caine is explaining Gloinks to the crew, he becomes irritated by Bubble's constant questions and pops him again. However, Caine appreciates his company. While the rest of the crew goes off on adventures, Caine and Bubble are seen in a restaurant chatting.

As the most powerful artificial intelligence program in the digital world, Caine is the most powerful entity in the Digital Circus and the creator of all other AIs in the circus. Because of this, his creations consider him "God." Despite his immense power over the digital world, he has admitted that there are some things beyond his control and that he is not fully aware of everything that is happening:

Lordship of Cyberspace: As the master of ceremonies of the Amazing Digital Circus, Caine has almost complete control and rule over it and its inhabitants and has no known master or superior who surpasses him.

Near-total omnipotence in cyberspace: Caine appears to have complete control over The Incredible Digital Circus, and is able to create, manipulate, and control anything within its boundaries.

Psychological Manipulation: Caine appears to have limited control over the minds of those living in the digital world. Cyberspace Omnificence: Caine has been shown to be able to create anything, including virtual food, a randomly named spinner, and a virtual species called "Gloinks", along with the "Gloink Queen". Teleportation: Caine can go from one point to another within the Digital World, as he was shown teleporting in and out of The Amazing Digital Circus and saving Pomni by teleporting her from the void back to the Digital World. Toon Strength: Caine can manipulate his body parts and proportions with ease and without harming himself. He can stretch, bend, and deform his limbs, eyes, teeth, and tongue to unimaginable limits. Flight: Caine has the ability to fly or float freely in the air. He can also cause other characters, such as Pomni and Kaufmo Abstracto, to float or fly at will. Amorphous Eyes: Caine can control the shape of his eyes and make them move, as shown in POMNI WAKE UP TIME TO GO ON AN ADVENTURE, he played Hacky Sack with one of his eyes using the other. -Breaking the Fourth Wall
