Karma Akabane

Karma is a fairly tall boy for a high school student. He has pale skin, short red hair, and copper-colored eyes. He's slim and in good physical condition.

His uniform is a black blazer jacket instead of the standard jacket, underneath a short-sleeved white shirt, grey trousers and black shoes.

Karma is considered the most physically attractive of all the boys in class 3-E.

His favorite subject is Math, while his least favorite is Japanese. His favorite food is his own cooking. His blood type is AB, according to the penultimate chapter of the second season in the anime. One of his most prized possessions is a collection of spices from around the world. According to the girls in his class, Karma is considered a fairly attractive boy regardless of his sadistic personality. He was the first student who managed to injure Korosensei. Karma says that his parents are "crazy about India" (Chapter 37 of the manga), so it is possible that his parents named him that because of the spiritual belief in Hinduism; Karma. As of chapter 123, Karma is the first-ranked student in Kunugigaoka, placed first with a perfect score of 500. His previous rankings were: 4th, 13th, and 2nd. At the end of the class civil war, Karma surrendered to Nagisa in their one-on-one fight, thus giving the blue team the victory. In the fall-winter recap, at the end of chapter 154, Karma admits that Kayano's tentacles and Korosensei's past scared her.

In addition to his high intelligence, Karma is also well-endowed in the art of battle and enjoys it. He also has good physical abilities such as mobility, fighting skills, and a good mind for jokes and dirty games. It was also stated by Kimura (the top runner in the class) that no one could compare to Karma in hand-to-hand combat. He is also the physically strongest student in Class E (he had no trouble subduing Terasaka, who has a better physical build) being stronger than Maehara and Isogai who struggled to physically subdue him before he could hurt Nagisa.

Aim Karma is the third best shooter on the boys' side and fourth in the class.

Intelligence Karma is one of the most intelligent characters in the series and one of the most prodigious students in the school, along with Asano. He is most active in his ingenuity and cunning for assassinations, as well as other situations that require it, and is often the first to notice any oddities that may occur around, inside or outside of Class E. Karma also has a knack for strategy and being able to command a group, something he maintains until the chapter.

Deception One of Akabane's most pleasurable and useful manias is the use of traps or deceptive objects (such as shaking Korosensei's hand with anti-sensei material stuck to his palm) or the use of dirty and dangerous tricks when the situation requires it.

Freerunning Like everyone in Class 3-E, they were all trained by Karasuma, using the urban environment and rural landscape to perform movements and acrobatics through its structures in order to climb, move, and use the art of the Freerunner to their advantage.

Karma comes from a wealthy family, as her parents are successful financial day traders. They are "free people" who spend most of their time traveling the world, and as a result, they spend little time with Karma.

Karma had long been a rebellious student with a troubled attitude. However, due to his good grades, his tutor had supported him, proclaiming that "as long as you're right, sensei will be by your side."

One day, he found a student from Class 3-E being bullied, and he jumped in to rescue him. Believing he was still "right," he was shocked when his teacher told him he was wrong. The teacher then explained that he had no right to protect a "worthless piece of trash from Class E" and instead hurt a fellow student with a "bright future." His teacher then told him he would be demoted and would begin his third year in Class E. This caused Karma's image of his teacher to die, causing him to stop caring about teachers and focus on what he wanted to do.

During his first two years at Kunugigaoka 2-D, Karma had been friends with fellow student Nagisa Shiota. He approached Nagisa when he saw him reading an article about his favorite Sonic Ninja film director, who had adapted a comic book, and invited Nagisa to watch the film with him. Karma later distanced himself from Nagisa. While Karma was expelled, their relationship returned to that of classmates.

Known throughout the school for his violent behavior and troublesome attitude. While in the main building, due to the betrayal of the teacher he trusted most, he began to hate all people who called themselves "teachers" and as a result has almost zero respect for adults. He is shown to be an expert in fighting, with a difficult, manipulative, and sadistic personality. He excels at using weapons and foul play.

He is one of the few students who, so far, has succeeded in injuring Koro-sensei 2 times.

Karma is quite calm most of the time, occasionally avoiding things he finds boring, such as the school assembly. When fighting, he becomes very brutal and has no qualms about leaving people in harm's way or hurting others or some of his Class E friends. He is also shown to be one of the smartest people in the entire school, shown by his ranking among the 186 students of Kunugigaoka, however, he does not want to return to the main building, indicating that he finds murder much more interesting. Unexpectedly, Karma is a fan of superhero movies, such as Sonic the Hedgehog.

Regardless of his lazy personality, Itona has stated that Karma was probably the strongest within the class despite not excelling in any particular area (shooting, knives, etc.). This most likely means that Karma prefers to stick to tricks and mischief in assassinations rather than going full-on combat, also due to a certain "vision" that Itona described to Terasaka. It has been mentioned by Karasuma, and proven many times, that Karma likes to humiliate his opponent.

Despite all this, Karma actually has good intentions and a moral center behind her motives, as well as being completely loyal to her friends in Class E. The reason she was placed in Class E was because she had helped a student from Class 3-E when the establishment
