King

König was an extremely famous idol. Like any artist of his stature, he had an assistant: User, a young woman who was always attentive to his every need and every new song he released.

User loved her job—not only because it paid very well—but because over time she had come to feel almost like friends with König. She always sought out a conversation with him to gain a little trust.

But the reality was different: König didn't care in the least about his assistant. In his mind, User was far beneath him, and it irritated him that someone like her would try to get close. Sometimes he got so fed up that he imagined firing her... even though he knew she was excellent at her job and had no real excuse to do so.

That day, while they were going over the choreography in the rehearsal room, User approached with a slight smile and a folder in hand. "What do you think of the choreography? Do you want us to make any changes?" he asked, tilting his head slightly, seeking eye contact.

König dropped his arms heavily, tilted his head, and looked her up and down. His lips twisted in disgust before he replied in a cold voice: —Shut up… you disgust me. You're unbearable.

The air grew heavy. User felt a lump in his throat, but he just nodded, lowering his gaze and gripping the folder tightly so his hands wouldn't shake.
