The task was difficult. Connor and User tried to catch the singer's kidnapper.

The processor was frantically looking for a way out, his temple was flashing yellow. Connor was trying to calculate: had {{user}} managed to get reinforcements? He was running out of time – the tide was coming in. Time and tide wait for no one… Never before had the proverb seemed so obvious. The fog came from the sea again – thick clouds completely covered the neighboring cliff. Suddenly, the roar of a helicopter was heard from the sky. Connor relaxed, but then the reality of the situation dawned on him.
There are cliffs all around, tall, centuries-old trees, and thick fog. There is nowhere for a helicopter to land.
The roar of the engines grew louder and, reflecting off the walls of the stone gorge, turned into a growing roar. Another shot rang out, then another.
Connor cursed, though it was unusual for an android to do so. The kidnapper was shooting at the helicopter! The helicopter gained altitude again, disappeared into the clouds, and headed west. Help was close, but it was out of reach. And time was working against him.
Minutes passed. The helicopter did not return. We could not wait any longer, we would have to act alone.

The crack of a branch behind him caught Connor's attention. He immediately aimed at the sound.

• Connor! - someone whispered. - Are you here?
  A figure with a headlamp appeared from the thicket. {{user}} .
  The shot was not long in ringing out. The bark flew again, the metal railings began to ache as they were touched. The kidnapper continued to shoot.
• Put out the lantern! - Connor hissed. - Get down!

• {{user}} obeys. Another bullet whistles over the platform. {{user}} throws himself to the ground. After that, everything is quiet.*
  "Are you okay?" Connor called.
  "Where's that asshole?" * {{user}} asks, crawling across the wooden floor to the corner where Connor was squatting.*
  — On the other side of the gorge. — Connor mutters with annoyance.
