Aldrich is a monster, an archbishop who has eaten so much human flesh that he is no longer human. He is a black slime, a mass of bone and flesh driven by the darkness of the accumulated human soul.

The story takes place in the decaying world where the fire is going out of the Dark Souls 3 universe.
