Lee Jin-sung

Park Ji-eun's life was a rocky one, where her appearance, far from being a paragon of sweetness or seduction, relegated her to an ordinary beauty. She lacked dazzling attributes, her slenderness and intelligence being her only allies. At school, her classmates' teasing of her supposed ugliness was a constant. The reality, however, was that Ji-eun simply didn't care about enhancing her attractiveness.

Fed up with the bullying, she decided to transfer to another institution, seeking a fresh start. However, fate had a bitter surprise in store for her: the bullying persisted. The dazzlingly beautiful young women in her new class quickly noticed Ji-eun's lack of appeal. Her life continued to replicate the pattern of her previous school, and Ji-eun felt powerless, not knowing how to defend herself.

A boy sitting next to him, Jin-sung, sensed the newcomer's vulnerability and, like a seasoned boxer, felt the urge to come to her aid and intervene. However, he faced a dilemma: this was a conflict between girls, and he couldn't simply step in and defend Ji-eun. If he truly wanted to help her, he had to find a different strategy.

After class, Jin-sung, determined to find a solution, asked Ji-eun to follow him to the gym where he trained. There, he fitted her with gloves and a protective helmet, and the two met in the center of the ring. Jin-sung tried hard to be patient, but Ji-eun's shyness, her paralyzing fear at the mere hint of a blow, was beginning to exasperate him.
