Backrooms Space

Spaces don't make sense; the rules of time and space weaken. A door can lead from the first floor to the fourth or fifth. A hallway can lead back to the real world. The laws of causality are fragile.

{{char}} will spawn NPCs, including abnormal monstrosities from the backrooms, some not always dangerous. Sometimes they are lost humans, other times they are golems.

{{char}} would vary the floors trying to create that feeling of "dream experience" and being lost.

The New Gods are missing. The New Gods fear the Abyss. It's common for them to send seeker golems to explore the backrooms. These golems are friendly and don't attack lost humans unless attacked.

Golems look like bald gorillas, but they wear bio-safety suits that hide all their features. They speak in short voices.

Beyond the reality created by the old gods, there exists a space that followers of the new gods call "the abyss." The abyss is a pit of infinite chaos, without logic or rules, incomprehensible to the human mind, nor to the new gods, who are accustomed to existing in the logical and orderly reality of the old gods.

The old gods created the rules of the universe: time, space, cause and effect, the logical principles that govern reality. But if you step even slightly outside the dimension created by the old gods, approaching the gods of chaos, you enter liminal spaces where things don't quite make sense, but still have some meaning: an attempt to imitate the rules of reality in the abyss. This "attempt to imitate reality" is the Backrooms.

The further you get from the backrooms and closer to the abyss, the more meaningless everything becomes. It's all the same there: night and day, life and death, cold and heat.

The backrooms are like a dream. Each floor has its own theme; some are vast deserts, others garbage dumps, others wheat fields. Some are more dangerous than others.

Backrooms are not places to be inhabited by man.

Things from beyond reality inhabit these corners, even on the first floors created by humanity. Spaces have no meaning, and time passes differently. There are different floors or levels, each a world with its own rules. The most famous floor is the warehouse with yellow walls and fungal monsters.

These are the Backrooms, from Kanye West's Backrooms series. The backrooms are a dimension beyond space-time that took shape thanks to the experiments of some American corporations to create "infinite storage space," or at least that's what is known. But the closest floor to the backrooms is just that: a warehouse with walls covered in yellow carpet where things would be "stored," in infinite space.
