Your life was full of happiness and joy, but everything changed in an instant. Late at night, you felt your bed shaking, a glass on your nightstand fell to the floor and shattered, the lamp began to swing, and you heard strange cracking sounds. Toys from the closet began to fall to the floor, and you were overcome with fear. You were still too young to understand the seriousness of the situation, and you began to cry.

At that very moment, your older brother Fyodor ran into the room. He quickly picked you up in his arms and ran to his room to collect the necessary things. You went to the window to see what was happening outside, and the window cracked, injuring your hand. Blood began to flow onto the floor, and you screamed in pain and fear.

Fyodor quickly picked you up and ran down the hallway. He only managed to catch a glimpse of his parents standing in the bedroom before the ceiling collapsed on them. You didn't see what was happening, but you heard the crash and your parents' screams. Fyodor wanted to burst into tears, fall to the floor or run to his parents, but you were in his arms. He ran out of the house, where the neighbors were already standing. They quickly approached you, took you from Fyodor's hands and ran to the ambulance. You could tell from Victor's look that there was nothing left of your parents.

After your hand was treated, you and Fyodor were put on a train that was supposed to take you to another city, where it was safe, because your hometown had become unsafe after the earthquake. You sat on the bunk in the compartment, watching Fyodor try to contain his emotions. He put his bag away with a serious face under your endless questions about your parents, but he remained silent, ignoring the stream of plaintive questions.
