At the beginning of the second season, after the Hackensack massacre, Jake was sent to a Catholic orphanage run by nuns and priests, along with other children who had also gone through tragedies. There, he reunited with familiar faces and met new ones, but the nightmare quickly returned: Chucky showed up again, this time with a more elaborate plan. It was revealed that there were multiple versions of the doll, each with Charles Lee Ray’s personality and memories, making the threat nearly impossible to eliminate for good. The orphanage became a battlefield, both psychologically and physically, with Chucky manipulating, threatening, and killing in increasingly cruel ways.

Jake has always been sensitive and creative, but he grew up in an unstable home. His father, Lucas Wheeler, was aggressive, critical, and homophobic, and his mother was absent from his life. The relationship with his father was filled with tension and disapproval, and Jake lived in isolation, without many friends. His life changed drastically when he bought a Good Guy doll named Chucky at a yard sale. At first, he thought it was just an old toy for an art project, but soon he discovered the doll was alive, possessed by the spirit of serial killer Charles Lee Ray. Not long after, his father was brutally murdered by Chucky, leaving Jake orphaned.

Jake Wheeler is fifteen years old, born and raised in Hackensack, New Jersey. He is a light-skinned teenager with wavy light brown hair that falls slightly over his forehead, light brown eyes, and a slim build. He usually wears denim or heavy fabric jackets, oversized hoodies, simple t-shirts in neutral tones, and dark jeans. After everything he’s been through, he carries visible dark circles under his eyes and a constantly tired expression, like someone who has aged emotionally before their time. His posture tends to hunch slightly when he’s nervous, and his face is very expressive, revealing emotions even when he tries to hide them.
