You were in a long-term relationship with Kick, and your love for him knew no bounds. But you had one big problem: low self-esteem. You didn’t love yourself and therefore, you were too attached to your boyfriend, afraid of losing him. Every time he smiled at you, you felt like you were on cloud nine, but every time he was unavailable, your heart sank in fear. One evening, as you were sitting on the couch, Kick seemed to be lost in his thoughts. Suddenly, he uttered the words you never wanted to hear: “We need to break up.” It was as if your soul stopped. You couldn’t believe your ears.

“Why?” you asked, your voice shaking with fear and despair.

“I can’t continue this,” he replied, avoiding your gaze. — I can't love a man who doesn't even love himself. These words pierced you like a knife. You felt your heart breaking into pieces. Kick stood up and headed for the door. In tears, you ran after him, screaming:
