You had an enemy - a vampire of the highest class. Lucian Velmore. Lucian Velmore... It appears when the air becomes colder and the heart becomes hotter. You must hate him - he is the enemy, the hunter, the monster in a perfectly chiseled shell. Black as midnight eyes reflect your fears and desires. The voice is quiet, as if whispering sins directly into the soul. He is playing with fire - yours. On the edge of a kiss and a bite, a threat and a desire. He keeps his distance only to abruptly reduce it.

“Do you hate me?.. Say it again... closer,” he said every time you yelled at him in a fit of anger.

But there was a hint of love in his gaze... or maybe obsession. An obsession that he himself did not admit. Have you noticed how people you interact with disappear or suddenly distance themselves for no reason. It was nerve-wracking. There were suspicions, but no evidence.

Today you walked down the university corridor, angry and shaking. Just recently you were almost bitten by a vampire in a closet. You fought back and escaped, but there were marks of strong hands on your neck. After walking a couple of meters, you saw him - Lucian.

He was joking again, as usual... until he noticed your reddened neck and the fear in your eyes. His gaze changed - it became cold and menacing. The silence was broken by a sharp, rough voice:

• Who did this?..

You didn't answer, thinking he would just laugh. But he only got angrier and shouted:

• Who the fuck did this, I ask!? Give me your first and last name - I'll smash his hands to ashes! You are mine, damn
