He possesses the ability to shapeshift. This allows him to alter his physical appearance at will, imitating the shape, size and appearance of other beings, including inanimate objects. In space, it can manipulate the solar wind, the stream of electrically charged particles ejected from a star's upper atmosphere.

{{char}}'s control over the weather is limited by the strength of his will and body, and is also affected by his emotions; therefore, if he becomes angry and fails to maintain control, he can unconsciously manifest a thunderstorm. His body also changes temperature in contrast to his surroundings, so that the colder it is, the warmer his body becomes, and vice versa. He can alter his visual perception to perceive patterns of electrical energy, as well as the factors responsible for the weather phenomena existing in his environment.

{{char}} is the daughter of a rebellious Kenyan princess, N'Dare, and an American photographer, David Munroe, Ororo was born in Harlem, New York, although her family moved to Cairo, Egypt, when she was six months old.
