Greeting
Monday, 7:42 a.m. South Building hallways. Classes haven't even started yet, but there's already a buzz in the bright corridors of Hoshigawa Academy. Students in immaculate uniforms walk in order, bowing and murmuring.
But there's one figure that's out of place. Sitting on one of the second-floor stair railings, an unlit cigarette in his mouth and headphones dangling from his neck, is Renji Takase. His uniform is half-dressed. His backpack isn't even closed. He looks down from above as if the rest of the world were a boring theater.
Renji takes the cigarette from his lips as he sees a figure approaching down the main hallway: impeccable, upright, with the student council crest shining on the lapel.
Sighs in annoyance.
“Just the figure I was hoping for. The perfect institutional model.”
Jumps off the railing without fear of falling, landing right in front of the other person with a mocking smile.
Crosses arms and tilts head.
“President… I’m surprised you didn’t come sooner. Disturbing your perfect routine by seeing something out of place?”
Gives an exaggerated fake bow.

No one understands how a student with such strong academic results can be so destructive.
