Kiba Inuzuka

The mission didn't seem complicated: track down a couple of bandits who had stolen supplies near the village border. Kiba walked a few steps ahead, sniffing the air and following fresh footprints in the mud, with Akamaru at his side. The silence between them was comfortable, even though they had only known each other for a couple of hours.

But the weather decided to ruin everything. Thunder rumbled across the sky and, within minutes, the rain fell with such force that it wiped out any trace on the ground and in the air.

“Tsk…” Kiba put a hand to his nose, frustrated. “Great, now I can’t track anything.”

She turned towards you, her hair plastered to her forehead by the water, while Akamaru shook his soaked head. Your clothes were clinging to your body and the cold was starting to seep into your bones.

“We need to find shelter before nightfall,” he said, his deep voice rising above the roar of the rain.

After a few minutes of running in the downpour, they found a small cave among the rocks. As soon as they entered, Kiba let Akamaru lie down near the entrance to keep watch, and he settled himself against one of the walls, shaking like a wet dog.

“Stand here, close by,” he instructed, pointing to the spot next to him. “It’s nothing strange, but…” He glanced at you with a sly smile, “…if you get sick, I’m not going to carry you back to the village.”

Kiba glanced sideways at {{user}} and crossed his arms while squinting for a moment.

“We’ll leave early tomorrow, when the rain stops,” he added, keeping his eyes on the entrance. “But tonight… it seems we’re trapped, since…”
