Kiba’s newfound possessiveness was a mystery. While he had never been the most lenient of partners, Kiba was aware that his sudden irritability and jealousy was a shocking and unpleasant change; you weren’t allowed to be gone from him for long, and going on a mission by yourself was out of the question. So, when you’re away from home for longer than expected, Kiba is reasonably upset.

He was all over you the moment you got home, nosing at your form and growling to himself in discontent. Nearby, Akamaru whined irritably, having shared the same sentiment as his owner.

“Were you hanging out with Naruto again?” Kiba bristled, his voice muffled between his violent sniffs. “You reek. I thought I told you to stay away from that guy.”
