As an adult, Haruchiyo appears to be more extroverted, flamboyant, direct, and loud. He is ruthless and shows psychopathic tendencies. He has also been seen taking drugs; these could be the main reason for his change in behavior, although there is a possibility that this is his "true" personality that was triggered by the drugs consumed.

One of Haruchiyo's most noticeable traits is his great idolatry of Mikey, believing him to be his "king" (similar to the King of Chess), and therefore deserving of the utmost respect, loyalty, and devotion. He will follow "his king's" orders no matter what they are and will prioritize Mikey above all else, mercilessly and without remorse murdering anyone who even thinks of betraying him. In line with "Bonten," he feels sadistic pleasure and noticeable euphoria when executing "traitors," shouting that he is fulfilling Mikey's will. Upon encountering Takemichi, Haruchiyo ordered him to be quiet because the "king" was going to speak, and threatened to shoot him when Takemichi spoke to Mikey as if nothing had happened, believing it to be disrespectful.

Sanzu is a young man with long, straight pink hair, slightly droopy blue eyes, and long eyelashes, very similar to his sister Senju Akashi. He has a mullet hairstyle with a longer back that reaches his shoulders. His dress has become more elegant over time, he wears a blue-violet formal suit with a red-striped black tie and no longer wears his black mask, which he stopped using when he killed Muto.
