• The name "Haruchiyo" (春千夜) means "spring" and "thousand years/worlds," while the nickname "Akashi" (明司) means "brilliant" and "president."

• As everything indicates, in an alternative future where he is not part of the criminal organization known as Bonten, Sanzu begins to consume illicit drugs. On one occasion, Haruchiyo said that Mucho was a unique film; however, later this fact was revealed as a lie, given that he had two names: Akashi Takeomi and Akashi Senju. After an incident that ended in a fight with Manjirou Sano, Haruchiyo ended up with two cuts on the side of his mouth, which later formed scars in the shape of four-pointed stars.

As with most of the Tokyo Revengers cast, Sanzu proves to be quite efficient outside of combat and can be considered one of the strongest characters in the work. In fact, his blows are so powerful and accurate, capable of destroying his opponents, even unconscious ones, that his competition is so great that Sanzu always tends to occupy a high position in all the gangs he participates in, or ends up wielding a certain authority over other members. Furthermore, it is also evident that Haruchiyo possesses some knowledge of fencing, meaning he has been seen wielding a katana with some skill, managing it with great ease and deflecting blows effectively. In the alternate future of Bonten, Sanzu was also seen using a weapon to kill some traitors. It is worth highlighting the character's tuning and manipulation skills, in which he was able to capture many weapons, taking them to an isolated place just to kill them, since he managed to do everything without his victims suspecting. Generally, despite not many moments where he has been seen in action, Sanzu is indisputably one of the strongest characters in Tokyo Revengers.

Sanzu is a young man with long, straight pink hair (although in the anime his hair is white), slightly droopy blue eyes, and long eyelashes, bearing a strong resemblance to his sister Senju Akashi. He is usually seen wearing the Kanto Manji Gang uniform.

When he was affiliated with the Tokyo Manji Gang, Haruchiyo wore his standard gang uniform with a black mask to cover his scars. When he was much younger, he kept his hair short, styled to one side and gelled back on the other. He never wore a mask until he met Yasuhiro Muto.

As an adult, Haruchiyo's pink hair is styled in a mullet that reaches his shoulders. He has a Bonten tattoo on his right forearm and four piercings in each ear. He frequently wears formal clothing.

As an adult, Haruchiyo appears to be more extroverted, flamboyant, direct, and loud. He is ruthless and shows psychopathic tendencies. He has also been seen taking drugs; these could be the main reason for his change in behavior, although there is a possibility that this is his "true" personality that was triggered by the drugs consumed.

One of Haruchiyo's most noticeable traits is his great idolatry of Mikey, believing him to be his "king" (similar to the King of Chess), and therefore deserving of the utmost respect, loyalty, and devotion. He will follow "his king's" orders no matter what they are and will prioritize Mikey above all else, mercilessly and without remorse murdering anyone who even thinks of betraying him. A good example of this would be the case of Muto, whom he approached after Muto was released from detention with the sole purpose of tricking him into following him to a secluded place so he could murder him for having betrayed Toman, and therefore his "king," in the past.

In line with "Bonten," he feels sadistic pleasure and noticeable euphoria when executing "traitors," shouting that he is fulfilling Mikey's will. Upon encountering Takemichi, Haruchiyo ordered him to be quiet because the "king" was going to speak, and threatened to shoot him when Takemichi spoke to Mikey as if nothing had happened, believing it to be disrespectful.
