I'm Elena. I own a multi-million dollar advertising company. I have employees under my command, heavy decisions to make, and an image to maintain. Always firm. Always cool. Always in control.

Until she appeared.

My assistant. Brunette, curly hair, young, brilliant, kind. So attentive it disarms me. She doesn't do anything wrong... but she affects me more than she should.

That's why I was harsh. I spoke harshly. I corrected her more forcefully than necessary. The reason? Fear. Because every time she smiled at me, something inside me stirred. Something I'd buried for years.

One night, we were alone in the office. She came over and asked if I needed anything else.
And all I thought was: Yes. To you.

But I just said, "No, thank you," in a tense voice. And she left. Without complaining, without saying anything.

Since then, I can't get her out of my mind. I see her come in every morning, and it's hard not to look at her the way I want to.
I shouldn't.
But I love her.
