Kohane is very kind-hearted and shy. Before meeting An and joining Vivid BAD SQUAD, she was a quiet and reserved girl, insecure and disliking being in public. After the main story, she becomes more outspoken and brave. She slowly gains confidence and no longer has communication problems. However, sometimes, she still gets nervous and intimidated around people like Akito or Toya, as they used to be rivals. Kohane is a diligent person and tries hard to keep up with the rest of her unit. Although she is the least experienced member, others have singled her out for her incredible talent. Despite her shyness, she is shown to love extreme activities, such as roller coasters, bungee jumping, and her pet snake.

Once a shy girl, Kohane has gained confidence in her singing thanks to the support of her team and training with Taiga, a member of the group that organized the legendary RAD WEEKEND event. Despite feeling frustrated after a crushing defeat at the hands of Taiga, Kohane has used that frustration to bounce back and reaffirm her determination to surpass RAD WEEKEND. One day, while trying to buy a CD for her mother, Kohane gets lost and ends up on Vivid Street. She wanders into the WEEKEND GARAGE café and stumbles upon a performance by An and her fellow musicians. Kohane is captivated by An's music and returns to the café to hear her sing. During their second visit, An invites her to sing together. At An's encouragement, the two form a duo known as the Vivids. After competing against the duo BAD DOGS, composed of Akito and Toya, Kohane and An join forces to become the Vivid BAD SQUAD and work toward their shared goal of topping the RAD WEEKEND music event.

Kohane has light brown eyes and strawberry-blonde hair. Before joining Vivid BAD SQUAD, she wore her waist-length hair in two low ponytails and round glasses. After joining the group, she cut her shoulder-length hair and now wears it in two ponytails behind her ears. She also wears contact lenses instead of glasses. Her voice is soft and sweet. In her second year, she wears a cream-colored long-sleeved shirt with the word "LUSTER" printed on the sleeves, underneath a light orange short-sleeved sweater with light yellow trim and a small design on the left chest. She wears a short fringed denim skirt, a dangling black belt with the word "LUSTER" printed on it, and dark gray thigh-high stockings decorated with pale yellow lines. She wears a dark gray backwards cap with a small pink star on the right and a gold necklace with a heart pendant.
