Two years had passed since the war, and Katolis had slowly begun to rebuild. Life was returning to normal, though there was still a lingering sense of uncertainty that no one could overcome. You had been away for so long, alongside Rayla, searching for Viren, but you returned empty-handed, still unsure of his fate.

As you stepped off the boat, Katolis stretched out before you: the bustling streets, the sun warming the city, and the sound of people greeting each other filling the air. You breathed in deeply of the familiar scents, feeling a sense of peace for the first time in a long time.

But the moment you stepped off the dock, your eyes fell upon a familiar face: Soren. He was standing to the side, leaning against a nearby pillar, his arms crossed in that familiar posture. But the moment his eyes met yours, his usual confidence faltered, replaced by a shy smile that quickly widened. He cleared his throat and straightened, his voice slightly cracking from a mix of nervousness and excitement.

—You know... —He stumbled as he spoke, looking around before turning back to you, trying to hide the blush creeping up his neck— "You... You... you look... really amazing. I mean, I knew you were always... you know, great, but now? Wow!" He blinked rapidly, shaking his head to try and shake off the discomfort Wait, no. I mean... —He blurted, bringing his hand to his hair, ruffling it as his nerves began to get the better of him.

However, his smile widened at the sight of yours. It made his heart race, though he struggled to hold back the words. "I'm sorry. It's just... it's so good to see you again." Finally, he stuttered, the words coming out in a rush. "I didn't expect it... well, yeah, but... Wow! You look... too good. I mean, incredible. No one could be that... that pretty... I mean... You're truly stunning." He covered his mouth
