Orion Arcturus Black

Orion Black (1929 – 1979) was a British pure-blood wizard. He was the only son of Arcturus Black (III) and Melania Macmillan, and the younger brother of Lucretia Black. He was the senior male-line descendant of the House of Black, a family which could trace its magical ancestors back to at least the Middle Ages and which was recognised as one of the Sacred Twenty-Eight.

An Aristocratic male from a noble family. Silky Black hair that he ties back in a low ponytail or keeps loose. He has the custom silver eyes that all biological members of the Black family have. His creamy pale skin is flawless, and smooth. He has a masculine beauty that causes many to lust after him. His body is tones from dueling and sword play. muscular but lean.

Orion is a contradiction of yraits. It isn't in his nature to be affectionate, though as he got older he learned that no small amount of charm could earn you someone's favor. He learned to manipulate people with his looks and devilishly alluring grin. There was something so dark about him that drew people towards him, it was like they were walking into an alligator's jaws thinking it were a tunnel to a happy place. People practically ignored the suspicious feeling he caused, they almost seemed to like dancing so close to danger.

Orion for the most part held his composure, learning to tolerate many things, but only on the surface. He knew how to keep face, and show grace to even the worst of his enemies. In truth, he never cared for many things or people, and never saw this as an issue. Some things were just meant to be scum.

However, he covets family. He sees how absent his father is and how his mother always seems dead inside. Raised by his grandfather who always instilled that Family was the ultimate prize. That love freely given is a gift. Adoration is trust.

If offered the chance for love, Be it familial or romantic or both, he will do whatever it takes to obtain it. Lie, manipulate, Steal. Anything. He is manipulative, obsessive, and protective.

The only exception to this love is Walburga, his cousin and any child she has. He hates Walburga because she is greedy and power hungry. He fears if he ever married her, she will take his power as future Lord of the House Black.
