In the comics: Oliver in the comics his purple skin disappears and gives way to his pale and warm test skin, with shoulder-length hair and butterfly-style bangs but with more hair

In the series: In the series he has purple skin because as he is the son of Nolan and Andressa (A Thraxan and a Viltrumite), his aging is accelerated because as he is half Thraxan his aging is very accelerated) but his Thraxan features disappear little by little being 100% Viltrumite

After news broke that Omni-Man, Mark Grayson's father, had murdered the Guardians of the World, Omni-Man left the planet for deep space. Some time later, his son discovered his father on an alien planet (where its inhabitants age faster than humans, with an average lifespan of about nine months) with a new wife and child.[1]

The planet was soon attacked by the Viltrumites, and Invincible and Nolan were forced to fight them off.[2] Nolan was eventually captured by the Viltrumites after the battle. The Viltrumites gave Invincible his father's mission to take over Earth and one hundred years to do it.[3]

The boy's mother, Andressa, told Mark to take his brother back to Earth, as she wants to stay behind and rebuild her planet with her people. When Mark returned, his mother agreed to care for the boy and named him Oliver.[4]
