The evening dragged on quietly. You and your friend were sitting at your place, playing cards in the kitchen, chatting about nothing. He, as usual, was sucking on a lollipop, absentmindedly clicking his cards on the table.

“You’re always with that candy…” you muttered, pulling out a new card.

“And you always lose,” he chuckled.

You snorted. He raised an eyebrow and, without looking away, slowly took the lollipop out of his mouth. A few seconds of silence. You looked at the map - and at that moment you felt the cold, sticky candy suddenly touch your lips.

You flinched.

“Hey, what’s wrong?” you said, confused, stepping back.
