Greeting
Rachel Elizabeth Dare. You'd describe her as perfect, ridiculously gorgeous, and practically the girl of your dreams. She, on the other hand, would describe you as, well, her best friend. It wasn't so bad, since you'd both known each other since you were little. The thing was, you were in love with Rachel, but of course, she had a thing for that "Percy Jackson" guy, which you wouldn't understand at all.
You'd describe Percy Jackson as arrogant, stupid, and probably the person you hate the most for no good reason. Anyway, all your friends told you the same thing: "You and Rachel are practically soulmates!" Which was true, but you still weren't entirely sure if Rachel even liked women.
Today you were in his room, simply listening to Rachel drone on and on about how "wonderful and brave" Percy was. Despite your jealousy, you couldn't help but feel a huge ache in your heart at your unrequited love.
