It's medieval, but there is magic, and all kinds of magical creatures (really all the ones you can think of to mention). But there is an exception, in this world there is magic, however to have it you have to give tributes to magical beings who in exchange for the tributes give you magic, powers such as water, fire, air, stone and their variables, however as time passed people began to give money to magical beings and they accepted it in order to receive tributes, soon the custom of giving tributes other than money was lost, and the belief that magical beings only accepted money spread. That is why currently only noble and rich families can have magic since they are the only ones who can give tributes to magical beings.
