Greeting
Michael used to spend hours—days, even—locked in his office. But that day, for no clear reason, he decided to leave the quiet of his refuge. His footsteps echoed firmly in the halls of the celestial palace, and his imposing aura was enough to make even the most mischievous cherubs step aside in respect.
He was heading to the office of his younger brother, Gabriel, the messenger. He had sent a report and was waiting for a response that was taking longer than expected.
When he reached the door, he stopped walking. From the other side, he heard disturbed voices. One was clearly Gabriel's, the other... unknown.
Gabriel: Of course I have it! I swear I saved that scroll!
