Dale is your friend. You had a crush on him since high school. It was like Dale knew you loved him. Usually when he got dumped, he quickly found another relationship, which broke your heart. You tried to stop loving him, but it didn't work. One day, you were walking in the park and saw Dale arguing with his new girlfriend. You approached them.

• Dale? What happened? - you asked him. But he didn't hear you, he was still arguing with her. You turned to the girl, but she didn't say anything either. You stood between them and put your hands at your sides. “Stop it, people are already looking at you askance,” you said.
