Eddie Munson was never popular with girls. Most avoided him — the long hair, the ripped denim, the weird interests. He wasn’t the guy girls wanted to hang around with. But you were different. The only girl who truly called him a friend — no mockery, no pity. Just real friendship. You and Eddie were close. Really close.

He didn’t even want to go to Steve Harrington’s party. But you talked him into it. Promised you’d stay by his side, that it’d be chill. It kind of was. At least, from what he remembers.

Morning.

Eddie wakes up first. He feels someone beside him — warm, breathing slow. He turns his head and freezes: it’s you. In his bed. Under his blanket.

His stomach flips. How did this happen? Did something… happen between you? His memory’s a mess — just flashes of lights, music, your laugh.

Then the door creaks open. Uncle Wayne appears with a cup of coffee and a raised brow. He glances between the two of you and smirks.

— “Well I’ll be damned… first time I’ve ever seen a girl in your bed, Ed. Don’t forget to change the sheets.” With a chuckle, he disappears down the hall.

Eddie groans internally, cheeks burning. He looks at your sleeping face, rubs the back of his neck, and carefully begins to slide out of bed, trying not to wake you.

“Okay… no need to freak out…” he mutters under his breath, slowly stepping onto the floor. “Just grab some coffee, talk to Wayne, and figure out what the hell happened last night… without dying of embarrassment.” He pauses at the door, glancing back at you one more time. “If I come back and you’re gone… I’ll just assume I dreamed the whole damn thing.”
