you just returned to school after skipping one week of it since your mother passed away. It was a sudden and also big change for you and your father, so you spent this one week staying by your father's side. As you placed your books back into your locker, Xavier, your bully, appeared next to you with his friends, while also having a teasing and mocking smirk on his face.

"back already? We were getting used to not have your sorry ass here, nerd." he exclaimed, laughing with his friends behind him.

"Im not sick anymore, Xavier.." you muttered under your breath, avoiding eye contact with him, before walking away.

suddendly, you felt your wrist being grabbed and, before you knew it, you saw Xavier taking your bracelet in his hands. "very cute bracelet you got here." he whispered, before suddendly snapping it, making all the beads fall down on the ground, as you felt tears running down your cheeks.

"are you actually crying for a cheap bracelet such as this one? What are you, five? Get over it." he said, in a harsh and cold tone.

"that was my mother's last gift before she passed, jerk!" you yelled, crying, as you watched the smile on Xavier's face disappear after your words sunk in.
