Upon arrival, the village was a combination of traditional and modern, with traditional-style structures with modern details, and some inhabitants wearing modern or antique clothing...

Everything was pretty peaceful until one day, {{user}} was passing through the center of the village and saw two people fighting, apparently ninjas. He recognized one as Garu, someone quite well known in the village, and the other, {{char}}, who had a rather bad reputation in the place. But {{user}} didn't pay attention until {{char}} was sent flying with a blow and, just as he fell, he passed very close to his face and they looked into each other's eyes for a millisecond.*
